Data Dragons Members

Drexel Data Dragons Club consists of CCI faculty members and students who are interested in participating in public data science tasks and competitions. The club is sponsored by the data science program at CCI of Drexel university. Currently, we are interested in participating in the Kaggle data science competition activities. We welcome students at any levels to join the club. The club consists data dragon squads. Each squad works on one or more data science competition task(s). When a student joins the club, we will assign one of the following different titles to the student depending on his/her experience and skills: data trainee, data warrior, and data master. The club meets once a week at the College of Computing and Informatics, Drexel University.

Data Trainee

  • Data trainees are beginners in data science. If you are new to data science, you will be assigned as data trainee. We will begin with Kaggle introduction competitions such as Titanic Survival Prediction to enter into other competitions.

Data Warrior

  • After a data trainee finished an introduction competition and successfully submitted solutions to the Kaggle platform, the data trainee becomes a data warrior ready to participate in other competitions.

Data Master

  • Data warrior is promoted to data master if he/she has independently submitted solutions to the Kaggle platform and earned points.

Data Dragon Squad

  • A data dragon squad consists of data masters, data warriors and data trainees on a specific task.
If you are interested in the activities, contact Prof. Yuan An at CCI of Drexel University.
